Christchurch Angling Club has grown to be one of the largest clubs in Southern England.
Members are able to fish the very best of the famous Hampshire Avon including Somerley
Estate waters. The club also controls many miles of the famous Dorset Stour and numerous
lakes suitable for the specimen hunter, match angler and pleasure fisherman alike. Our game
section offers Salmon fishing along the Avon valley which includes, Somerley Estate with
some of the best Salmon, Sea Trout and Grayling fishing available. We also offer four
trout fishing lakes with catch and release available on two of them. There is also superb
Sea Trout, Bass and mullet fishing within Christchurch harbour, the lower River Avon and
River Stour.

- Harrow Pond - Work is being carried out on the dam outlet wall by the estate and hence parking is restricted to the first 'ice house' car park. The fishery remains open, but members MUST follow any instructions given by signage or contractors. UPDATE - Access is proving difficult as work is more extensive, members may wish to fish one of the other 8 open stillwater venues.
