Harrow Pond

ABOUT THE VENUE
This estate lake which dates back to the 17th century is a real step back in time. With its mature trees and dark silty water its tranquil setting is a real treat. There is a mixture of mirrors and commons in this lake with the biggest going to the mid twenties and a few ghost carp as well. This pond can provide excellent sport floater fishing and the fish always give a good account of themselves. There is a shallow end where a stream feeds the lake running down to the deeper road end. We advise that there is no wading in this lake as the silt beds are very deep in places and only fish from fixed swims. Please note entry/leaving times on this water and there is only day fishing. No night fishing is permitted on this water. A bit of a difficult water to find but give it a go you may be surprised.
