The River Avon at Upper Burgate

ABOUT THE VENUE
This is another beautiful stretch of river which has good access and is only a short walk from the car park however it can get a little slippery during the winter. During the summer months swims look a real picture and abundant wild life can be seen. Large catches of Dace to close to 1lb can be caught if you can find them. There are some large chub and roach around, these can be hard to find but in such stunning surroundings it is easy to forget that you are not catching.

RULES & NOTES
Fishing
Coarse: 16th June to 14th March
Trout: 15th April to 15st October
Salmon: 1st February to 31st August

Fishing Times (This means Entry & Exit Times)
One hour before sunrise to two hours after sunset

Boundaries
Indicated by thick lines and ‘B’ denoting limits together with marked streams on rule book map

Access/ Parking
Car Park is indicated on club book map. Access along streams to river follow footpath from the A338 over Burgate Suspension Bridge. There is also parking at Burgate Farm.

General Notes
1. Please use CAC car parks.
2. Gates must be closed at all times.
3. Club key required.
4. Please keep to riverbank or footpaths. NOT OVER OPEN FIELDS
5. NO METAL CANS OR GLASS BOTTLES ALLOWED ON FISHERY.
6. GUEST TICKETS AVAILABLE.
7. All Salmon caught must be released.
