ABOUT THE VENUE
This venue offers a bit of everything, deep holes, fast shallow runs, bridge pools and side streams. There are good barbel, chub, pike grayling Roach, Dace etc which hold up in different areas at different times of year and weather conditions. All methods work in most swims but have a wonder because you never know what you may find in the next bridge pool or side stream.

RULES & NOTES
Fishing
Coarse: 16th June to 14th March
Sea Trout: 15th April to 31st October
Salmon: 1st February to 31st August

Fishing Times (This means Entry & Exit Times)
7am to two hours after sunset. NO ACCESS TO RIVER BEFORE 7am

Access/ Parking
Above A31 - park in side road by electricity sub-station.
Below A31 - part by slip road from A31 for B3081 to Matchams and Verwood

General Notes
1. Car stickers MUST BE DISPLAYED.
2. No access to coarse anglers during the Close Season.
3. No fishing from bridges and/or structures.
4. Please keep to riverbank and streams. NOT OVER OPEN FIELDS
5. NO METAL CANS OR GLASS BOTTLES ALLOWED ON FISHERY.
6. GUEST TICKETS AVAILABLE.
7. All Salmon caught must be released.
8. Sea trout may only be taken between the min 15in to a max 20in size limit, a max of 2 fish in any 24hour period. An EA Migratory rod licence is required.
