
ABOUT THE VENUE
This is a beautiful stretch of river which has good access
and is only a short walk from the car park. During the summer
months swims look a real picture and abundant wild life can be seen.
Chub and barbel get caught from most swims but they do move around,
they may take some finding. During the winter months, the bank opposite
the white house starts to fish well with large catches of Dace to close
to 1lb. Over the last few sessions a large number of small barbel up to
1lb 8oz have appeared.

One hour before sunrise to two hours after sunset.

Indicated by thick lines and ‘B’ denoting limits on rule book map
Access/ Parking
Park in club car park next to the lay-by near to Winkton relief weir
(a club key is required). Then you can either walk up stream and cross
the relief Weir Bridge. The west bank access requires a long walk unto
the top weir.

1. Please use CAC car parks.
2. Gates must be closed at all times.
3. Club key required.
4. Please keep to river bank or footpaths.
5. NO METAL CANS OR GLASS BOTTLES ALLOWED ON FISHERY.
6. GUEST TICKETS AVAILABLE.
7. All Salmon must be released.
8. THERE IS NO SALMON FISHING AT ANY TIME.
